Though PCDJ Red is like many other DJ Software programs, it does include features like an advanced Loop Editor application, gradual gain control and track reverse effects that set it apart from others.

PCDJ Red can import a variety of audio file formats like MP3, WAV, WMA and others.

PCDJ Red can record and publish sets in MP3, WMA or WAV formats, as well as broadcast sets online. PCDJ Red can also serve as a line-in for MIDI controls, as well as VRM plug-ins, such as Karaoke.

Performance:  

PCDJ Red is average in its performance quality, with the typical instants of delay that hinder many DJ Software programs. While it does feature an impressive array of tools and controls, PCDJ Red seems better suited for the bedroom than the dance floor.

PCDJ has a strong help and support section, offering manuals, instructional videos and tutorials and Live Support message boards, while also hosting a FAQ page.
